Paralympians Train on Casper Mountain

Casper, Wyo.- This week athletes and Paralympians from across the country took advantage of the snow on Casper Mountain to train with members of the Casper Mountain Biathlon Club and members of the Wyoming National Guard.

12 of the 13 athletes training this week are injured veterans and have used skiing as a way to get their lives back to normal. Two of the athletes even participated in the 2014 Paralympics in Sochi earlier this year and are using their experiences to help others.

Volunteers from the CMB and the Wyoming National Guard helped the athletes this week while training.
