The Expedition League’s Casper Horseheads today announced the release of the team’s 2019 regular season schedule. Seven of the league’s nine possible visiting teams will visit Mike Lansing Field during the regular season, including the EL’s two newest teams, the Fremont (NE) Moo and the Wheat City (Brandon, Manitoba) Whiskey Jacks.
The 2019 season will begin at home Friday, May 24 as the Horseheads host the 2018 EL Champion Western Nebraska Pioneers in a two-game series before hitting the road for a six-game road trip to Hastings and Hub City (Aberdeen, SD).
“This is a really exciting day. We have all kinds of fun and exciting things planned for our guests for the 2019 Expedition League season. We cannot wait to create lifelong memories for everyone at Lansing Field in 2019 ” Horseheads General Manager Matthew Snyder said.
“Kicking off the year against the defending league Champions will give us a great indication right away of the kind of team Coach (Scott) Stover’s put together this year.”
The Horseheads’ 32-game home schedule ends August 3-4 with a two-game home series as the Horseheads host Fremont. The Expedition League’s one-game divisional playoff game is set for Wednesday, August 7 and the League’s Championship Series will begin Friday, August 9. All games will be at 6:35 p.m. except for Sunday home games, which have a new starting time of 4:35 p.m.
The League’s All-Star Game and festivities will be held in Minot, home of the Souris Valley Sabre Dogs, July 15-17, with the game itself at Corbett Field the night of July 16. All EL games, including the All-Star Game and playoffs, will be available on EL TV, the League’s official live streaming outlet. All Horseheads games will be available through EL TV and more media sources to be announced. All EL TV games will be archived for viewers on the team’s new Horseheads-TV.com media site, to be launched in early spring. The Horseheads will announce 2019 game broadcast information soon.

“We are beyond thrilled to have secured one of the major nights of the summer as a home game at Lansing Field on July 4.

Horseheads season tickets are on sale now, with weekend and General Admission season tickets available by January 15.
Weekend season tickets will include the July 4 game as a bonus. Single-game tickets will go on sale April 15.
