Wyoming Case Dismissed on Stand Your Ground Law

CASPER, Wyo. The decision is based on Wyoming's new Stand Your Ground law.

Prosecutors argued Jason John lured Weasley Willow to his Casper home to shoot him and was not protected by the law.

John's attorney argued Willow threatened John before coming to his home uninvited and that John was entitled to the right to protect himself.

Reports say the Natrona County judge Cathrine Wilking agreed and dismissed the charge yesterday.

She also encouraged prosecutors to appeal the case to let a higher court consider the law's implications.
