WYDOT Snowplow Discovery Leads to Felony Drug Charge

A snowplow hit a case full of cash which led to a felony drug seizure.

After hitting the case, the driver immediately to the Wyoming Highway Patrol.

The cash was taken to the local office to be processed.

Meanwhile, three individuals in a small Toyota were inquiring about the case, so maintenance sent them to the local patrol office in Elk Mountain Wyoming.

When they arrived there was an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.

A Wyoming Highway Patrol k( unit responded and had a positive alert.

A search of the car revealed 81 pounds of marijuana, felony amounts of MDMA, a misdemeanor amount of hallucinogenic mushroom and a felony amount of liquid THC.
