University of Wyoming Has Opportunity to Buy 2 Million Dollars Worth of Land

Albany County officials have been looking to acquire some 5,500 acres east of Laramie.

For 10 and a half million dollars.

The land has promise for recreational opportunities including mountain biking.

A recent amendment to a purchase agreement between the county and property owner gives the university a $2 million option to buy some of the land.

University board chairman dave true says he isn't sure when the board may decide to buy into the land deal.
