Two People Die from Two Separate Accidents on I-25

Highway Patrol troopers say two people from Casper died in separate accidents on I-25 Saturday.

The two accidents were not related but troopers say icy roads caused both.

The accidents occurred near the Glenrock Rolling Hills exit between 5:00 and 6:00 in the morning.

In the first accident, the passenger was ejected during a roll-over and died.

According to the Wyoming Highway Patrol, 55 year old Linda Hurely was killed in the roll over.

Reports show a Ford pick-up, was traveling southbound on I-25 pulling a U-haul trailer.

Near mile marker 165.9 the Ford encountered an icy curved bridge deck.

The front seat passenger, was ejected and pronounced dead on scene.

The driver went to a local hospital and was in stable condition Saturday.

"The driver lost control of the vehicle as it started to rotate clockwise. The vehicle then entered a clockwise rotation approximately 170 degrees left the interstate on a steep embankment, descended that steep embankment and over turned multiply times," said Joel Eldred with Wyoming Highway Patrol

In the second accident, a driver going north went through the median.

Wyoming Highway Patrol reported 30 year old Jason Monday died from his injuries during a life flight to Colorado.
