THERMOPOLIS, Wyo. The origin of the case began during a summer incident at the lake where a woman accused Cercy of making sexual advances towards her.
One piece of evidence that was integral to this case was the reaction of the dogs during the possible advancements.
The defense presented its case Monday.
Caryl Cercy, Tony Cercy's wife, testified that she did not hear their dogs react to the incident.
Also, an independent lab tested the DNA on behalf of the defense and it showed all male DNA on the victim belonged to her boyfriend.
There should be a verdict later today.
