The great American Eclipse is less than four months away.

Residents and businesses are continuing to find ways to get involved.

Tuesday at the Lyric in Casper, new event hosts for the Eclipse Festival.

Executive Director Anna Wilcox found more community members who realized what they can do to promote the event.

She also said there's a good chance for you to experiment this week.

"Thursday, April 20th at 11:42 am the sun will actually be in the exact same place in the sky that it will be on August 21st for the Eclipse, if you pop out of your business or you pop out into your backyard, set out a lawn chair at 11:30 look up. That's exactly what your view is going to be,” said Wilcox.

It's important for viewers, especially Casper residents to know that you should not need to move that much when watching the eclipse and as always, never look directly at the sun.
