State Lawmakers Pass Bill to Make Women Wait Two Days Before Receiving an Abortion

CASPER, Wyo. The bills sponsor Richard Tass says it gives women the gift of time to think before making a life-changing decision.

The bills opponents think it's not lawmakers place to mandate a waiting period.

“We have no other medical decisions like that that are, you know, that we’re mandating waiting periods on procedures. This is an attempt to limit a woman’s right to abortion.” Said Charles Pelkey.

The bill does have an exception if the woman's life is at risk.
