Special Olympics Gets A Big Donation

Special Olympics of Wyoming athletes got a ten thousand dollar check from Albertson's employees Wednesday.

The money was raised during a month long in-store campaign to support people with disabilities in all Albertsons and Safeway stores within the Denver Division.

The campaign raised over 200 thousand dollars with grants supporting various programs like Special Olympics in five states.

Albertson's Store Manager says its a good cause he and his employees believe worthwhile. Daniel Hittle is the Albertson's Store Manager he says, "It's going to a great cause you know Albertsons and safe-way have both been involved in special Olympics for years and years and years and we raised these funds for those organizations and we want to give it to them

The donation money will go towards Special Olympics events across Wyoming.
