Congresswomen Liz Cheney was in Casper Wednesday to hold an open house and listen to people's concerns.
Cheney spoke about the Affordable Care Act. Some people in the room openly disagreeing with her, and let her know the Affordable Care Act saved their life or someone they know.
Other topics included federal lands and the idea of giving the land back to the state but not allowing the state to sell the lands to private contractors.
Cheney is hopeful she can accomplish a lot for Wyoming in the new administration, "To actually see some of these regulations rolled back, to begin to see tax reform, to begin to see Obamacare repealed and replaced so I think that you really will very quickly begin to see a lot of change."
Cheney spoke with everyone who attended listening and attentively taking notes to make sure she addressed everyone's needs.
