Ranchers in Wyoming say more people are shooting livestock and are urging legislators to enact more severe penalties for the crime.
Wyoming's Farm Bureau officials say people are shooting on both private and public lands, and as of right now anybody caught are fined and must pay the rancher for the animal's market value.
According to ranchers, Livestock poachers should have to pay four times the amount of the animal’s value.
