Often times simple things can comfort hospital patients following a traumatic experience.
The Wyoming Medical Center's, "Caring Closet" provides new clothes for patients if they're damaged in an emergency situation.
It also allows domestic and sexual abuse victims to change their clothes.
Program volunteers say the closet provides a good service.
Evelyn McDaniel, WMC Volunteer told News 13, “I can't imagine going home in clothes that were bloody or soiled, so I think we serve a real purpose in having these clean clothes for people. It helps them feel better."
The hospital also takes monetary donations for the Caring Closet.
