Great Lakes Airline to Suspend Future Flights Out of Riverton

Great Lakes Airline officials will suspend future flights out of the Riverton Airport starting November 1st.

The decision reduces Riverton airport operators to one air carrier through Denver Air.

Airport operators have been in this position before.

They assure travelers there are still reliable options, including daily jet services.

After working with Great Lake operators for over 15 years, city officials said the absence will be felt.

Riverton's Public Works Director is optimistic of the remaining carrier, the Denver Air connection whose on-time performance is considered second best in the entire airline industry.
