Grant Money Given to Early KinCare Program

A $7,500 grant from the Wyoming Community Foundation has been given to Early KinCare

KinCare educates expecting mothers in Natrona County the importance of prenatal health and nutrition.

Early KinCare is a nonprofit organization which connects mothers together with resources to nurture healthy pregnancies and healthy babies.

Joy Shain is the Early KincCare Program Director and she says, "We will work with an expectant mother from the time she finds out she's pregnant until after she deliverers and for the first year after the baby is born."

This could improve prenatal brain development and grant money will go to enrolling more people into the program.

The Early KenCare program is free of charge for expectant mothers.
