Daughters of the American Revolution Have a Healthy Chapter in Casper

CASPER, Wyo. Daughters of the American Revolution is a strong and growing national organization.

"Anyone from the age of 18 and up that is a woman that can track their lineage back to the American Revolution to their patriot is welcome in the society and we have our registrar and genealogist there to help them." Said Kristen Trumbull Modalschel.

We have an active chapter in Casper

"The Daughters of the American Revolution know as DAR is a women's service organization. We have a national, state, and local chapter. We focus on historic preservation, education, and patriotism." Explained Chelly McCleary Trumbull.

There are many ways to be involved

"I like the idea of joining the organization because they do service in the community and I'm active in an autism group for families, the Casper autism support group so I envision combining that interest with the DAR and the ladies in the DAR to help fundraising, awareness. I also like the history aspect of it. They are interested in preserving history." Said Anne Homan.

There are over one hundred members in the local Daughters of the Revolution carrying on our patriotism
