Child Struck by Train In Sheridan in Stable Condition

Sheridan Police Lt. Tom Ringley toldNews 13 this morning at approximately 10:00 am a 2 year old boy was with his adult caretaker when he was struck by a BNSF train at the 1st Street crossing in Sheridan.

The young boy was transported to Sheridan Memorial Hospital and was then transported to the Denver Children's Hospital.

Lt. Ringley reported the boy to be in stable condition.

The Sheridan Police continue to investigate as well as BNSF leading their own investigation.
