CASPER, Wyo. Thursday was as the twenty-fourth annual Casper Women of Distinction luncheon held at the Ramkota Hotel and convention center.
Women celebrated their service to our community with a united spirit of giving back.
These women serve not only Casper and central Wyoming but the entire state.
The group at the annual lunch meeting influence what goes on statewide.
"24th annual Casper woman of distinction luncheon and this is an opportunity for us to be able to celebrate the women of Casper and all the great things that they're doing and it's such an honor to be a part of something so great. We put this together every year and do it in conjunction with international women's day which is being held on March eighth." Said Stacey Zeidler od Women of Distinction.
"Really incredible women have gone before me and I'm just very proud to have the honor of being called the woman of distinction and it motivates me to be better and to do more and inspires me to work a little bit harder." Said Susan Stubson, this year Woman of Distinction.
The ceremony included a proclamation of the international women's day by mayor Charlie Powell, a keynote address by Nancy Potter, and recognition of 2019 nominees presented by prior women of distinction.
