The woman responsible for stealing hundreds of decorative brass flower vases from the Memorial Garden Cemetery was sentenced to serve seven to ten years in the Wyoming Women's Center.

In April fifty-one year old Janna Szvnski was arrested for theft and property damage after stealing the sacred items.

Today the courtroom was full of loved ones whose vases had been taken from grave sites.

Five of 334 victims came forward to speak about, what they called, “un-forgettable and un-forgivable crime”.

Szynski took the vases to Pacific Steel and Recycling center for cash, where she made a reported, $2,900.

With tears running down her face, Szynski shared her remorse for her crimes.

Each vase costs approximately four hundred dollars, as part of her sentence she was ordered to pay back more than forty thousand dollars to the victims.
