Casper Transportation Plans Are Getting an Update

By  |

CASPER, Wyo. Community members met at Art 321 on Thursday asking questions, voicing concerns, and completing the survey.

Metropolitan Planning Organization leaders are looking at all forms of Casper transportation and how they can adapt to a larger population looking 30 years ahead.

They want to avoid traffic congestion in the future and make using public forms of transportation easier for residents.

"Some people you know have been concerned with growth and what that's going to do to traffic going forward and wanting to make sure that that's being looked at and the city, the region, is staying proactive about congestion and those sorts of things." Said Paul Moore Nelson, the principal office leader of NYGAARD.

The MPO wants to hear public opinions, and they have a survey you can find throughout town.
