Casper Man Arrested for Grand Larceny after Stealing his Mom's Ride

Casper Police arrested a 24-year-old man over the weekend for stealing his mother's Mustang from the garage, court papers show he is, “notorious for having sticky fingers and stealing cars”.

Devin Pangus is facing grand larceny after taking the vehicle without his mother's permission.

The mother called police when she learned of her Mustang missing and she could not get a hold of her son.

Officers located the vehicle and the mother at Preserve Circle in Casper. Pangus was known to officers as he was recently out on bond for stealing his grandmother's vehicle as well as other vehicles.

Reports show there was probable cause that pangus was not simply joyriding, but displayed a level of committing grand larceny.

During the arrest officers also located a methamphetamine pipe in Pangus' possession.
