Business Owners Fear the Loss of Business with Upcoming Yellowstone Road Work

Cody business owners remain concerned about losing customers due to Yellowstone road construction.

That's despite assurances by the Park Superintendent to Cody business owners last week.

The proposed road construction is to start in 2018.

Construction crews plan to work near Fishing Bridge, which will likely cause road closures.

The closures would affect East Entrance Road which connects Yellowstone to Cody.

The road project involves reconstructing Fishing Bridge and Pelican Creek Bridge and three miles of road.

National Park Service workers say they don't expect closures until after October 2018.

The proposal is open for public comments until May 26th.
