CASPER, Wyo. Just 80-percent of competitors showed up, despite the storm.
Most players planned ahead and came in Monday night.
But closed roads kept those who planned on coming in yesterday morning from making the tournament.
Although the weather was bad, and it's the middle of the week, players enjoy the game company so much they don't mind.
"you get to see people you don't get to see all year maybe once a year is all you get to see them and its like a big pool family you know a big reunion and thats the big part of it for me its not so much of the competition anymore just the fun and hanging out with all the pool brothers and sisters." Said Monte Thayer Rowlins, a competitor.
This competition has grown drastically over the years from being a small event at the Parkway Plaza to now a major tournament at the events center.
