CHEYENNE, Wyo. House Labor, health, and social services committee passed the bill on Friday.
It would raise the minimum wage to eight dollars and 50 cents per hours.

Most Wyoming minimum wage workers make 7.25 an hour which is federal minimum wage.
“It would allow our individuals, our families, to be able to take care of themselves and their families better than they are now.” Said, Representative Cathy Connolly.
If the proposed bill becomes law, it would go into effect July 1st.
