A Young Leukemia Patient's Wish Was Granted

CASPER, Wyo. Colter Williams is a five year old Casper boy who is suffering from acute Leukemia.

He had a wish of being a cowboy, so the Children's Western Wish Foundation made his wish come true.

“He's had a great experience, he's had so much fun seeing everything and getting on a horse, just being a part of this.” Said Dustin Williams, Colter's father.

Murdoch's got Colter ready ready for the rodeo by giving him new boots, a cowboy hat signed by all the rodeo cowboys, and a special belt buckle.

“Very emotional to see him have that much excitement and joy over doing something like that” Said Heather Williams, Colter's mother.

As Colter rode around the arena, he was given a standing ovation with lots of claps and cheers by everyone in attendance.

“It made his world just that much better for what we're going but hes happy, hes very happy tonight and so that's all that matters.” His mother explained.

The Williams family wanted to thank everyone involved in the Children's Western Wish Foundation for giving them a night to remember.
