Carl reports mornings and anchors weekend weather.
Carl Rippy is thrilled to be a part of KCWY News 13 team and is glad to have landed in the intermountain west. A weatherman and television personality originally from Idaho was drawn to broadcasting as a young man. His fascination with weather began when lightning struck close to him and his father during a summer storm in south central Idaho. Rippy’s mother says, “He’s been jumpy ever since.” Carl has always looked up to news personalities and is committed to broadcasting interesting, fun, and hard hitting news. He looks forward to serving the community at News13 as a weatherman, reporter, and anchor. You can connect with him on Facebook@KCWYCarlRippyNews, Twitter & Instragram
