Worland Vet Fights Rabies

Springtime arrives soon, along with pesky varmints such as skunks and raccoons. These wild animals can spread rabies quickly, and veterinarians in Worland are taking action.
"I am adamant in requesting that the public vaccinate their own pets, for their own protection, and for the protection of their friends and neighbors, inside and outside of town," says Dr. Steven Tharp.
Tharp’s Animal Clinic is hosting a rabies vaccination clinic, since this time of year usually brings an influx of rabid varmints from the East side of the Big Horn Mountains. The clinic has been in business for over two decades now, and specializes in raising cattle. Doctors feel that vaccinations are key to keeping all your pets, and livestock, healthy.
