Thomas Miller Competency Hearing
September 12th, 2013
Thomas Miller appears in court for a competency hearing. He is accused of shooting and killing his wife, Natalie Miller, on March 27. He has been found found competent to stand trial.
The defense argues Thomas Miller is not guilty by reason of mental illness, as a result of a psychotic episode on the night of Natalie's murder. However, State Attorney Michael Blonigen argues there was malice in the case, because the Millers were actively discussing divorce and both had engaged in extra-marital affairs.
