Wyoming Above Average in National Fitness Survey

Click here for additional state-specific information from Gallup.

A recent gallup survey shows that some states seem to be exercise over-achievers, while others seem to be slacking a bit. The report finds Vermont and Hawaii residents exercise the most, while people living in West Virginia and Delaware exercise the least. Wyoming sits above average at number 16.

There is bad news for the nation as a whole. The survey finds that the national average for people who exercise regularly decreased in 2013. 51.6 percent of Americans said they exercised frequently last year. That's down from 52.7 percent the year before.
