After a long and brutal winter and our last snow only a few weeks ago, summer has seemed to pop up out of nowhere in full swing, and people are out enjoying the beautiful weather on this Memorial Day
“I'm loving this weather... I'm a big fan of wearing flip-flops so I'm trying to do that as much as possible. Trying to avoid socks at all costs and this was perfect weather for it.” said Matt Hurtt of Casper.
But the beautiful weather wasn't the only thing people were thinking about.
“My heart goes out to each and every one of them and all of their family members.” said Terry Dean of Casper.
And Hurtt says celebrating the day, even at the lake, is honoring the memories of those who have given everything “a lot of us find ourselves with the day off and we choose to do things that are fun, and its not because we just have an extra day off, but this day is a lot about freedom, and a lot of us like to celebrate our freedom on this day.”
