Casper, WY -- Police say the man who scared parents by waving a gun around a Casper school Friday afternoon was drunk and carrying a BB gun.
Parents picking up their kids from school say Nathaniel Walker was waving a gun, yelling and pretending to shoot at people outside North Casper Elementary Friday afternoon, when one dad managed to stop an officer who was patrolling nearby and point out the suspect.
The officer put Walker in handcuffs after a brief standoff, and authorities later determined he had a .138 blood alcohol content.
Officers say Walker was rather intoxicated, laughing after he was put in handcuffs and saying "you've gotta admit, that was pretty funny."
Walker faces five charges of reckless endangerment, one count for assaulting a peace officer, and a charge for "pedestrian under the influence."
