A Dubois man facing methamphetamine charges waived his preliminary hearing and was bound over to district court.
40-year-old Trampes Rivers was arrested in Dubois April 17 and his residence searched as a result of an ongoing investigation.
“When the deputies executed a search warrant at the home they encountered, components and materials that we know as trained investigators are used to manufacture the illegal drug methamphetamine,” said Fremont County Undersheriff Ryan Lee.
Court documents indicated an informant had been purchasing methamphetamine from Rivers since July. Rivers initially charged with unlawful delivery of methamphetamine is now charged with one count of unlawful delivery of methamphetamine and one count of unlawful clandestine laboratory operations. Lee said Rivers was the only one taken into custody for this incident at the time. Rivers’s arraignment will be scheduled at a later date.
