Casper -- It was a somber evening on the North Platte Tuesday night, as members of the Casper community came together in support for the family of the eleven-year-old boy who disappeared under the water Monday afternoon.

As the favorite hymn Amazing Grace played in the background, about a hundred people gathered on the Newell B. Sargent Foundation Bridge -- the spot where two boys were sucked into the river.
The eight-year-old was quickly rescued by rafters, but 11-year-old Alex Cressy, who was trying to help the boy, disappeared in the current.

Meanwhile the search for Alex continued in the water behind the mourners, with a different focus now that so much time had passed.
