160 miles, over 140 miles per hour at times......those are key numbers in the pursuit of a stolen Dodge Charger Tuesday afternoon.
The chase began in Fremont County and ended 163 miles later near Elk Mountain in Carbon County....pulling the Wyoming Highway Patrol, B-L-M Rangers, Riverton Police, Carbon County deputies and Rawlins Police into the action.
Fremont County deputies and Riverton Police originally responded to a report of a possible stolen vehicle.
At that point, the chase began, with the charger occasionally exceeding 140-miles per hour as the suspects fled down Wyoming 789 towards Muddy Gap, eventually ending up eastbound on I-80 from Rawlins.

Officers tried several times to puncture the tires with stop sticks...succeeding on the fourth try.

The chase ended near Elk Mountain on i-80.
Martin Anderson, 25, of Peyton Colorado and a juvenile were arrested. Two handguns were recovered from the Dodge....which was reported stolen from Colorado Springs July 30th.
