A woman was arrested for using her child to shoplift more than $500 worth of goods from Sportsman's Warehouse in Casper over the weekend.
Forty-two-year-old Beatrice Monroe was shopping at Sportsman's when she was spotted by staff at Sportsman’s concealing clothing items in her purse.
Reports show she had given one of the bags of items to her ten year old son.
Officers spoke with Beatrice who admitted to taking the items in her purse and to placing the bag on the boy's should for him to carry it out.
Monroe was booked in the detention center for shoplifting and child endangerment.
