Travis Hall to Serve 16-20 Years for Shooting Friend

This morning twenty-six-year-old man was sentenced to 16-20 years in the Wyoming State Penitentiary for shooting another man.

Travis Hall was arrested in early February for shooting a man with his revolver. Court reports show Hall shot multiple rounds at the victim, all missing major organs.

He was originally charged with attempted 2nd degree murder, yet the charges were lessened to attempted manslaughter.

As part of his prison sentence, he must pay the victim more than nine thousand dollars in restitution.

The state said today it was “pure luck” the victim did not die from gun shots.
