Suspects Sought after String of Non-Profit Burglaries around Wyo

Several break-ins at the Elks Lodge in Lander may be tied to a state-wide series of burglaries.

The Elks Lodge, a charity service in both Lander and Riverton, both were broken into.

Thousands of dollars were stolen out of safes.

Recently, officers made a connection between the lodge burglaries and other break-ins targeting non-profits in southern Wyoming.

Lodge managers said they won’t let this incident stop them from helping those in need.

Brett Salisbury, Lander Elks Lodge Manager, “We are kind of putting it behind us and looking forward now that’s all we can do. We’re not going to close our doors and stop doing what we do, we're going to do what we do and keep helping people."

No suspects have been found in any of the burglary cases but Salisbury hopes all suspects are caught to end future burglaries targeting non-profits.
