This Thanksgiving Senator Barrasso shared dinner with Wyoming National Guard troops serving in Kuwait.
He visited with members of the Wyoming Air National Guard's 187th airlift squadron stationed at "Ali Al Salem" air base in Kuwait.
The 187th supports airlift operations across the Middle East region.
"I had a chance to give one of these last week, here in Cheyenne to all the new recruits who are just joining the military, but I want to give one of these to one of each and every one of our soldiers overseas to thank them. But it has the Wyoming bucking bronco and the cowboy on it because it kind of reminds them that they're cowboys and cowboys never complain and cowboys never quit and our US military will never quit us,” said Senator Barrasso.
While visiting, he also toured workstations, aircraft and was briefed by military leaders on the status of their mission.
