Riverton Murder Case Moves to District Court

Florin Wyatt, the man who killed his 56-year-old-roommate with a hammer is heading to District Court.

Wyatt is charged with first degree murder and felony theft and had his preliminary hearing today in Riverton's Circuit Court.

It was revealed that Wyatt hit 56-year-old Kieth Stephenson with a hammer 17 times, and then dragged his body into the garage, got a gun and shot him in the back.

Wyatt confessed in an interview to police that they argued about the Denver Broncos before the killing occurred.

The judge re-affirmed Wyatt's bond to be held at one million dollars.
