Paul Miller a Riverton man who killed his three month old son was sentenced no less than 65 years to life on Wednesday.

The baby's mother, Tasha Croop read a statement to the court, stating, ‘pleading guilty means no remorse for his actions.’ She has lived in constant fear since he was arrested.

She felt if he were to be let out of jail and hurt somebody else.

She never mentioned his name in the statement, simply calling him the defendant.

Miller's Defense Attorney asked for 25 to 40 year in prison stating Miller has limited intelligence and doesn't understand verbal information the way a normal person would.

Miller's only statement was apologizing to his family and the residents of Riverton and Lander and asking for forgiveness if possible.

Prosecuting attorneys sought life in prison without possibility of parole for the second degree murder of his infant son.
