If you've been driving down South Poplar Street, you may have noticed a slightly longer commute due to repairs on a light at college drive.
Construction began in the summer.
While making repairs, it was evident that more extensive work was needed.
The Casper's traffic supervisor said the older intersection had missing cables which prevents the flashing arrow signals.
Monica Deleon, Casper Traffic Supervisor, “We've also discovered that we have a broken conduit underneath the ground. That's what modern is doing right now is waiting to bore in some new conduit, and then we should be good to go hopefully by Wednesday."
Once the intersection lights are repaired, she said to contact traffic staff if any malfunctioning occurs.
