A Meeteetse man is hoping enough fans vote for his nephew on “The Voice” television show to get him into the finals.
Adam Cunningham performed Monday night as one of the ten contestants that remain. 48 contestants started on the show this fall.
Cunningham’s Uncle David lives in Meeteetse in northwest Wyoming. David Cunningham is the director of the Meeteetse Museums.
Cunningham said his family is excited to watch Adam compete. He said Adam is one of the few remaining country and southern rock artists left in the competition. David said Adam was to compete Monday night, but depended on the viewer’s votes to make it to the final competition next week.
When asked if he taught his nephew all that he knows about music, David repliced, “Oh yeah. No. Heh, heh, heh. My brother did. The whole family is very musical. My mom and dad were musical, and it sort of runs in the family except for me?”
Cunningham said he hoped people in Wyoming and Montana would vote for his nephew Adam Monday night.
