Fort Washakie School Locked Down for Gun Shot Reports

Earlier today a Fort Washakie School staff member were outside and heard what she thought was shots from a rifle.

The staff member immediately notified School administration prompting the lock down.

Police we’re called to monitor the area, but didn’t find any suspects or signs of shots being fired.

The lock down went on for over half an hour. All students were accounted for and safely locked inside.
