Authorities continue efforts to find a Casper woman, Kristi Richardson.
Casper Police handed over Kristi Richardson’s case to the Division of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Tuesday for a joint investigation.
DCI agents will handle investigations after Interim Police Captain Steve Schulz sent a letter requesting the agency's help.
Richardson disappeared nearly three years ago after she didn't show up for work.
A reward of $250,000 has been offered for her return.
Casper Police Sgt. Mike Ogden told News 13, “Yeah they're going to look at it with you know their set of eyes and go through everything with the fine comb and be able to you know we'll still work with them. You know with anything they need help with of course."
Both DCI and FBI agents have also been working closely on the case.
Casper Police will pass any new information to DCI as well during the investigation.
