Big Brothers Big Sisters Aims for Big Things in 2018

January is National Mentoring Month, a campaign to honor and celebrate the importance of mentorships in our communities.

It recognizes the adults who take the time to mentor children and their hope is to recruit more to consider being mentors themselves.

There are currently around 50 kids waiting for mentors in Natrona County.

Big Brothers/ Big Sisters' Casper branch director told News 13 it's a rewarding experience for both mentors and their littles.

Casper Branch Director Amanda said, "We connect every youth in our community with that meaningful relationship with an adult, that in turn connects them to that support and opportunities they need to be successful adults, and to create a really brighter future for our community and all of the youth in it."
