Bar Nunn Home Invasion Suspect Sentenced to Wyo Women's Center

A woman has taken responsibility for her part in breaking in and attacking an elderly couple in Bar Nunn last February.

Sharon Hinkle today was sentenced to serve six to eight years in the Wyoming Women's Center after she pled guilty to conspiracy to commit burglary and conspiracy to commit aggravated assault.

Hinkle and her male accomplice, William Quillen kicked down the door of a Bar Nunn residence in early February.

The two demanded access to a safe, even after the homeowners said it didn't exist.

Hinkle was ordered to pay restitution and said she was "terrified" by Quillin and regrets not doing anything to help the victims.

Her sentences for both charges will run concurrent.

Attorneys said her counterpart, Quillen remains at the Wyoming State Hospital to see if he is fit to stand trial.
